3M Cold Shrink Insulator 8427-16, Tape/Wire/UniShield Shielding, 1 kV, Standard
3M Cold Shrink Insulator 8427-16 – Cold Shrink Connector Insulator The 3M Cold Shrink Insulator 8427-16 is a cold shrink connector insulator designed for primary electrical insulation and moisture sealing of inline electrical connectors and splices rated up to 1 kV. Manufactured by 3M, it features a tubular EPDM rubber sleeve that is factory expanded and assembled onto a removable core. Once positioned over a connection, the core is removed allowing the sleeve to shrink and form a durable, water-resistant seal. This product is suitable for copper and aluminum conductors from 10 AWG through 1000 kcmil and is ideal for use in indoor, outdoor, direct burial, and submersible applications. It is a reliable component for electrical distributors, wire and cable suppliers, and switchgear suppliers seeking effective insulation and sealing solutions.
