This allows electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers to improve circuit protection by using closer rated time-delay fuses, particularly beneficial in motor feed applications. These reducers accommodate renewable or one-time fuses sized closer to the motor nameplate current, enhancing system reliability. Non-rejection reducers fit Class H, K, or R fuses into Class H or K clips, while rejection-type reducers restrict fitting to Class R or Class J fuses. Class J fuse reducers are not suitable for bolt-on applications.
