This product improves circuit protection by allowing closer rated time-delay fuses to be installed, such as replacing renewable or one-time fuses feeding a motor with fuses sized closer to the motor nameplate current. It is suitable for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers looking to optimize fuse compatibility and protection in their lighting solutions and wire and cable systems. The Class R fuse reducers are rejection-type, allowing only Class R fuses to fit Class R clips, and are not intended for bolt-on applications.
