It is intended for use with insulated wire, cable, and rigid metal conduit, providing a secure seal to prevent the ingress of fluids or gases into enclosures. For use with IMC or EMT conduit, a short nipple of rigid metal conduit is recommended to accommodate the sealing bushing.
