Block – Electrical Sealing Compound The IDEAL Duct Seal 1 lb. block is a non-toxic, asbestos-free sealing compound designed for use by electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers to seal around electrical boxes, flashings, and service mast entries. It is also suitable for applications in refrigeration, heating, cooling, plumbing, and metal fabrication. The product is a dark gray putty with a specific gravity of approximately 1.65, offering excellent adhesion to metal, masonry, wood, and plastic surfaces without corrosion or adverse effects on plastics or human skin.
