Eaton's Crouse-Hinds series EYS Conduit Sealing Fitting – Conduit Sealing Solutions The Eaton's Crouse-Hinds series EYS conduit sealing fitting is designed for use in industrial facilities and factories, specifically in hazardous/classified locations. It serves to restrict the passage of gases, vapors, or flames from one portion of the electrical installation to another at atmospheric pressure and normal ambient temperatures. This sealing fitting limits explosions to the sealed enclosure and prevents pre-compression or "pressure piling" in conduit systems. It is suitable for applications requiring compliance with NEC/CEC Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, G; Class II, Division 2, Groups F, G; and Class III environments.
