Evolution Series EFB45 Floor Box Flush Style Cover with Floor Insert – Floor Box Cover The Evolution Series EFB45 Floor Box Flush Style Cover with Floor Insert is a low profile cover designed to attach to EFB45S style floor boxes, ideal for electrical distributors and lighting solutions requiring durable, flush-mounted floor access. Manufactured from die cast aluminum, this cover features a durable hinge allowing 180° rotation, a 1/4" deep recessed area to accept finished floor coverings, and two slide egress doors that lock open and automatically close around cables to reduce trip hazards. It is designed to sit flush with finished floors such as carpet, tile, and wood. For polished concrete or terrazzo floors, the EFB45-CTR concrete/terrazzo ring (sold separately) is required to achieve a flush installation. The cover is suitable for wire and cable management in commercial and architectural environments and complements switchgear supplier installations with its six powder coat finish options.
