Manufactured from die cast aluminum, this cover features a durable hinge allowing it to rotate open 180°, a 1/4" deep recessed area to accept finished floor coverings, and two slide egress doors that lock in the open position and automatically close around cables when the cover is closed. Engineered to sit flush with finished floors such as carpet, tile, and wood, this cover is suitable for electrical distributors and lighting solutions requiring seamless floor integration. For polished concrete or terrazzo floors, the EFB45-CTR concrete/terrazzo ring (sold separately) must be used to ensure a flush fit.
