Manufactured by Wiremold, this cover is engineered for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers seeking robust floor box solutions compatible with various flooring types including carpet, tile, wood, polished concrete, and terrazzo. It features a die cast aluminum construction with a durable hinge that allows the cover to rotate open 180°, providing easy access while reducing tripping hazards. Two slide egress doors lock open and automatically close around cables when the cover is closed, ensuring cable protection and safety. To achieve a flush installation with polished concrete or terrazzo floors, the EFB45-CTR trim ring (sold separately) is required. The cover is available in six powder coat finishes: black, gray, brass, nickel, aluminum, and bronze.
