It offers reliable protection for both motor and non-motor loads by opening quickly under extreme fault conditions to prevent damage to motor starters and other circuit components, while allowing time-delay for motor inrush currents. This fuse is suitable for general-purpose circuits and can replace older 600V Class H, K, or RK5 fuses.
