GEM Ground Enhancement Material – Grounding Solutions nVent ERICO GEM Ground Enhancement Material is a low-resistance, carbon-based conductive material designed to improve grounding effectiveness in poor soil conditions such as rocky ground, sandy soil, and mountain tops. Ideal for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers, GEM enhances grounding systems by dramatically reducing earth resistance and impedance, maintaining consistent performance across all soil types without requiring periodic maintenance or water presence. It is supplied in easy-to-handle 25 lb (11.3 kg) bags with handles, suitable for trench and vertical ground rod backfill installations.
