Metacaulk 1000, Firestop Sealant Metacaulk 1000 is a single component, water-based fire rated sealant and smoke seal designed for construction joints and through-penetrations. It cures to an elastomeric seal suitable for dynamic movement, preventing the spread of flames, smoke, hot gases, and water through joint openings and penetrations. This product is ideal for use in fire rated gypsum wallboard partitions, concrete block or concrete walls, and concrete or corrugated steel deck floor/ceiling assemblies. It also functions as a fire rated acoustical sealant, suitable for areas under constant vibration or movement. Metacaulk 1000 is compatible with various penetrations including EMT, telephone and power cables, and insulated pipes, making it a reliable solution for electrical distributors and lighting solutions providers.
