Metacaulk 1000 Intumescent Firestop Sealant – Fire Rated Sealant for Construction Joints Metacaulk 1000 is a single-component, water-based intumescent firestop sealant designed for use in construction joints and through-penetrations. It provides a fire-rated and smoke seal that prevents the spread of flames, smoke, hot gases, and water through joint openings and penetrations. Suitable for dynamic movement areas, it cures to a flexible elastomeric seal. This sealant is ideal for electrical distributors and lighting solutions requiring reliable fire and smoke protection in walls, floors, and ceilings.
