Metacaulk 150+, Sausage 20.2 oz Firestop Sealant Metacaulk 150+ is a general purpose, one-component fire rated sealant designed for construction joints and through-penetrations. It provides fire, smoke, hot gases, and water intrusion protection, making it suitable for use in firestop systems. This water-based, non-sag, elastomeric sealant is easy to apply with conventional caulking or bulk loading guns and can be troweled or pumped from pails for larger applications. It is compliant with ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and ASTM E1966 (UL 2079) standards, rated for up to 4 hours of fire resistance, and suitable for interior applications including gypsum wallboard partitions, concrete block or walls, and floor/ceiling assemblies. Metacaulk 150+ is compatible with various penetrations such as EMT, telephone, and power cables, and is monitored for chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster®, and Corzan® piping systems.
