Metacaulk 6" X 6" Putty Pads Fire-Rated Firestop Material Metacaulk 6" X 6" Putty Pads are moldable, non-curing, one-component fire-rated materials designed for through-penetration firestop systems. Manufactured by RectorSeal, these pads intumesce when exposed to fire, forming an insulating char that prevents the spread of flames, smoke, gas, and water through penetrations. Suitable for use in electrical distributor applications, lighting solutions, wire and cable penetrations, and switchgear supplier environments, these pads provide a reliable firestop barrier for electrical outlet boxes, conduit fittings, steel and non-metallic boxes, and cabling penetrations.
