Metacaulk Cover Guard Double Gang Receptacle

Metacaulk Cover Guard Double Gang Receptacle – Fire-Rated Gasket for Electrical Boxes Metacaulk Cover Guard Double Gang Receptacle is a single-piece, fire-rated gasket designed to meet the "24-inch rule" for steel electrical box penetrations in fire-rated assemblies. This product is mounted on the inside of the cover plate, expanding under heat exposure to form a char that seals openings, prevents flame spread, and limits heat transfer to unexposed areas. It is suitable for electrical distributors and lighting solutions requiring reliable firestopping in wire and cable installations and switchgear applications. The gasket is UL tested for use with both metal and plastic cover plates and complies with ASTM E119 and CAN/ULC S115 fire test standards for one- and two-hour rated assemblies.
