Metacaulk Cover Guard Double Gang Receptacle

Metacaulk Cover Guard Double Gang Receptacle – Fire-rated Electrical Gasket Metacaulk Cover Guard Double Gang Receptacle is a single-piece, fire-rated gasket designed for use in electrical boxes to meet the "24-inch rule" for firestopping in rated walls. Manufactured by RectorSeal, this intumescent gasket is installed on the inside of the cover plate, expanding when exposed to heat to form a char that seals openings, preventing flame spread and limiting heat transfer to unexposed areas. It is suitable for use with both metal and plastic cover plates and is UL tested for one- and two-hour fire-rated assemblies, making it an effective solution for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers seeking reliable fire protection in wire and cable installations.
