Utilizing high frequency electromagnetic waves and the Doppler principle, it detects motion even through many non-metallic materials, allowing installation behind fixture lenses or hidden from view. This sensor is suitable for applications requiring reliable occupancy sensing, such as stairwells, hallways, outdoor wall sconces, wall packs, and pedestrian-scale luminaires.
