Mighty-Merge® EMT To Duplex AC Or FMC Coupling 1/2" To 3/8"
Mighty-Merge® EMT To Duplex AC Or FMC Coupling 1/2" To 3/8" Electrical Transition Coupling The Mighty-Merge® 4156-DC is a set screw type transition coupling designed to securely join 1/2" EMT conduit to two 14/2 to 10/3 AC/MC/MCI-A/HCF/HCFMCI-A cables or 3/8" flexible metal conduit. This coupling provides a labor-saving solution compared to traditional junction box or fitting assembly installations, ideal for commercial and institutional electrical distributors and lighting solutions. The fitting allows for easy removal of armor to expose conductors to the required length to reach device boxes or enclosures. Inspection holes offer a visual end stop for cable or flexible conduit insertion. Use of anti-short bushings is recommended for safety. The coupling meets National Electric Code mechanical and electrical requirements.
