These intumescent inserts install directly against the back of steel boxes and are suitable for use when the horizontal separation between metallic boxes on opposite sides of a wall is less than 24 inches. Suitable for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers, these inserts facilitate firestopping in wire and cable installations and lighting solutions requiring fire-rated assemblies.
