It is ideal for spaces with multiple switch locations, obstructed views, or complex room shapes where passive infrared sensors are less effective. This sensor uses 40 kHz ultrasonic waves to detect motion without requiring a clear line of sight, providing reliable occupancy sensing for lighting solutions in commercial and residential environments. The CU-250 supports multi-way control when connected with other CU-250s or RH-253 switches, making it suitable for various wiring configurations and lighting control needs.
