XJG Expansion Couplings

XJG Expansion Couplings for Electrical Conduit The XJG Expansion Couplings by Thomas & Betts provide a robust solution for accommodating the contraction and expansion of conduit runs without compromising the mechanical or bonding integrity of the raceway. Designed specifically for rigid conduit applications, these couplings feature a malleable iron body with zinc plating for corrosion resistance and include an internal bonding jumper made of tinned copper braid, eliminating the need for external grounding straps. The coupling allows up to 4 inches of movement, making it suitable for long conduit runs requiring linear expansion and contraction compensation. Ideal for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers, this product supports reliable grounding continuity and meets UL and CSA standards.
